Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) School of Business invites applications for appointments at levels of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor beginning August 2012 in the areas of
Primary responsibilities include providing excellence in teaching, engaging in scholarly research, and participating in service for ADA’s new School of Business. The teaching load is light for the first few years, peaking at four courses per academic year. Appointments include courses at both undergraduate and graduate (MBA) levels. The applicant must hold a doctorate level degree in the respective field, have strong interest in innovative and interactive teaching, and should be willing to collaborate with other disciplines of the business school to provide an integrated course curriculum.

ADA is located in Baku, Azerbaijan – one of the world’s most striking and historic cities – in a nation that stands in the middle of Central Eurasia, bridging Eastern Europe and Western Asia. ADA provides a student centered, English-only learning environment for Business Administration (BBA) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (BAIS) and, as well a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs (MADIA). Although it was first established under Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs to train diplomats, as part of its strategic growth, ADA is starting to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree beginning Fall 2012.
