Call for Papers: XV International RABE Conference "Innovative Technologies in Modern Education"

XV International RABE Conference "Innovative Technologies in Modern Education", to be held on 2-3 November 2011 in Mexico, calls for papers.

During the conference the following issues are planned to be discussed:

I. Philosophy and the basic trends of 21st century education:

  • Change of environment of education
  • Education during all life - LLL (Life Long Learning)
  • Individual educational technologies
  • New educational environments
  • New forms and education methods
  • Integrative processes in education
  • Education in knowledgeeconomy 

II. Formation of the uniform educational environment (the organization of the environment of formation):

  • Information society
  • Information-communication technologies (ICT) in management of education
  • Formation ICT- competence of educators: shots of the uniform educational environment
  • Educational environments of professional communities
  • Standard-legal maintenance of innovative technologies in education

III. Innovative technologies in formation:

  • Virtual educational environments
  • ICT- competence of teachers
  • Innovative technologies in education
  • Quality of education and innovative technologies
  • Russian and foreign experience in innovative technologies area of education

IV. The Information environment of educational institution:

  • Basic concepts of application ICT in educational institution
  • ICT in the course of training (in educational process)
  • Computer support of educational technologies and training methods

Conference organizers are Russian Association of Business Education (RABE), Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (PFUR), State University of Management (SUM), and Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI).

About 100 leaders of Russian business and business education (deans, directors, rectors and presidents of the business schools, institutes, universities and academies) are expected to attend. 

The Conference will be provided with the Russian/English simultaneous translation. 

Authors are kindly invited to submit abstracts (up to 500 words) with biographic data (up to 100 words) to RABE office: office@rabe.ruumc@rabe.ru.

Important deadlines:

  • 15 September 2011 - paper submission deadline
  • 20 October 2011 - registration deadline
