Open competition for the position of the Rector of the International Academy of Business, Kazakhstan
The Board of Trustees of the International Academy of Business announces an open competition for the position of the Rector of the International Academy of Business, Kazakhstan.
The Rector performs the following functions:
- Submits the strategic plan of the Academy, takes a decisions on program planning of the Academy activities;
- Manages the Academy: academic, scientific, financial activities; is responsible for appropriate management, use and disposition of funds and property;
- Organizes and control the activities of the Academic Council, the Academy Senate (Rectorat), academics and research units, other structural departments of the Academy;
- Enhances international cooperation on higher education and research directions.
A person competing for the Position of Rector must:
- Be awarded a scientific doctor degree or PhD degree;
- Be experienced in management and economics, HR management, Project management;
- Have experience of at least 5 years of top-management in higher education sphere;
- Have a presentation, communication skills, strategic vision;
- Be pro – active, goal – orientated;
- Be fluent in English;
- Could speak in Russian (preferable)
