4th Edition of the Leaders of VBHC Competition Launched

The 4th edition of the “Liderzy Zmian w Ochronie Zdrowia. Leaders of VBHC” has been launched. It is a joint initiative of Wolters Kluwer Polska and Lazarski University Institute of Healthcare Management.

The purpose of the competition is to recognize medical institutions that develop practices aimed at delivering the best possible healthcare results in relation to healthcare outlays, i.e. operate in accordance with the Value Based Health Care (VBHC) concept. In these difficult times of the global health crisis and healthcare system overload, entities that develop innovations with effective management and patients in mind deserve recognition more than ever.

Participation at every stage of the competition is free of charge and open to all healthcare market representatives. Healthcare institutions have until 30 June 2021 to submit their projects.

In this year’s edition, solutions can be submitted in the following categories:

  • Quality Management – Process Management;
  • Quality Management – Patient Safety Management;
  • Quality Management – Medical Efficiency Management;
  • Human Capital Management
  • Patient-Friendly Organisation;
  • Effective Prevention and Education;
  • Quality-Oriented Ambulatory – NEW CATEGORY.

The winners will be selected by two independent bodies: a Pre-selection Jury and a Jury made up of medical market experts, including the representatives of State administration, economic organisations, and foundations.

The winners will be announced on 22 September 2021 during a ceremonial gala preceded by the 2nd Conference on Healthcare Changes.

The contents partner of the competition is the Centre for Postgraduate Studies of Lazarski University.
