Assistant Professor in Accounting - Athabasca University, Faculty of Business

Athabasca  University’s Faculty of Business is seeking applications for a tenure- track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Accounting.  The preferred areas of specialization for this position are Financial Accounting and/or Taxation. Successful candidates will hold an accounting professional designation and preferably also a doctoral degree.

Successful candidates will be competent in the use of computing technology, demonstrate strong research skills, innovative approaches to teaching, have industry experience, and be able to make significant contributions to the development of the Faculty’s academic programs.

Assistant Professor in Supply Chain and Operations Management

Athabasca University’s Faculty of Business is seeking an Assistant Professor Supply Chain & Operations Management with an ability to teach in a secondary area such as Productivity, Quality, Manufacturing Management, etc. We encourage candidates who have other secondary specialties and cross-disciplinary teaching experience to also apply.

Canada Research Chair in Digital Disruption and Organizational Transformation (Tier II) - Athabasca University, Faculty of Business

Digital technology has disrupted organizations in all sectors and has altered individual behavior, business processes, industry structures and stakeholder relations, as well as basic beliefs about what it means to do business. The mandate of this Canada Research Chair will be to explore how disruptive digital technologies have created new organizational orders by changing how people work and transforming the way businesses create value.

Applicants must be exceptional emerging researchers who have completed their PhD within the past 10 years and who are acknowledged by their peers as having the potential to lead in their field. The successful candidate will be appointed to a tenure-track assistant or associate professor level.
