ALBA Graduate Business School (ALBA) seeks a faculty member at the Rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The ideal candidate should have earned a Ph.D in Accounting, have great teaching experience and potential, strong publications record in top academic journals or the potential to do so, and experience/ desire in institution building. The position is available in September 2017 or earlier.
ALBA, founded in 1992 as an independent, non-profit, research-driven, graduate business school in a unique and continuing partnership with the Greek business community, has been affiliated with The American College of Greece (ACG) since 2012 to pursue within a broader institutional framework ALBA’s historic mission and vision.
ACG sees ALBA as a cornerstone in realizing its vision to establish ACG as the premier private, comprehensive educational institution in southeastern Europe. ACG, accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in the US since 1981, encompasses three educational divisions (4,800 students / 400 faculty): ALBA Graduate Business School - 700 students in MBA and specialized masters, plus an extensive executive education program; DEREE College – 2,900 undergraduate and graduate students; PIERCE College - 1,200 students in grades seven through twelve.
All ALBA MBA programs are accredited by AMBA, two MSc programs are accredited by EPAS while the School is accredited by NEASC.
