Georg Kell, Executive Director, UN Global Compact, in the opening session of the 3rd Global Forum for Responsible Management Education in Rio de Janeiro, said that the Compendium of Teaching Resources,  The Collection of Best Practices and Inspirational Solutions along with the Global Survey on Fighting Poverty through Management Education, was  “a phenomenal piece of work.”

A new edition of the The Collection of Best Practices and Inspirations Solutions for teaching about poverty in management education is now being developed.

The Collection of Best Practices is:

  • A unique resource guide for management educators to share teaching innovations concerned with poverty
  • A cross disciplinary collection of best practices
  • A platform for global pedagogy discussions

Contributions are one-page summaries of “what works” when it comes to integrating the issue of poverty into management education.  Each entry summarizes the item’s content, identifies the course and course level in which the item was or could be used, presents learning goals for the item, and describes the personal experiences of the author.
