The BSK- KROK Business School Entrepreneurship Research Lab initiated a large-scale study on the use of mediation in business and commercial deals. “Today, the study has been supported by several partners as business associations, mediation and negotiation centers of Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan,” says mediation researcher, BSK lecturer Victoria Polishchuk. Preliminary received research results look impressive. Now we know:
- Who is most aware of mediation in business
- What conflict situations are most often encountered in commercial disputes, and what are their causes
- How much companies spend on resolving commercial disputes
- How satisfied is the process of dispute resolution with the help of the court
- The level of confidence in the effectiveness of alternative dispute resolution methods
- How widespread mediation is in Ukraine in comparison with other countries
