IEDC-Bled School of Management, Postgraduate Studies invites applications for a Full Time Research Associate position to commence September 1, 2015. The area of specialization for the position is Leadership Studies and the appointment will be to the IEDC Institute for Leadership Research.
Candidates for the position must possess, or be close to completion of, a PhD in leadership, management, organizational behavior, sociology or a related cognate discipline. Candidates must have evidence of a developing track record of research and publication. Ideally, candidates will have expert knowledge of qualitative research methods and a working knowledge of quantitative research methods. Experience with research and teaching in one or more of the following research areas will be a strong asset: leadership/development, leadership-as-practice, arts/aesthetics/culture, ethics, and sustainable development.
In addition to contributing to the overall research culture development of IEDC-Bled School of Management, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Engage in ongoing research projects of IEDC-Bled School of Management Faculty for Postgraduate Studies.
- Develop new research projects including overseeing of third part grant applications.
- Be actively engaged in research publications.
- Provide administrative support to the Deputy Dean for Research.
- Some contributions to teaching activities of the IEDC Bled School of Management, Faculty for Postgraduate Studies.
- English fluency to native level is a requirement.
