The 5th IMTA Alumni Conference “Integrating Business Practice into Teaching” will be held on 19-22 May at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi, Romania. This edition of the conference is part of a series of events scheduled for 2010 which will celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi.
The conference will consist of the following three inter-related events:
Prof. Joe Pons, IMTA faculty member & President of AXIOMA Marketing Consultants, and Prof. Daniel‐Glaser Segura, Texas A&M University, USA confirmed their participation as keynote speakers on May 19, both of them being renown speakers and leading authorities in business research and practice.
During the International Teaching Week, IMTA alumni will have the opportunity to actively participate and deliver lectures on various topics (marketing, finance, strategy, leadership and change management, entrepreneurship, HR management, operation management, etc) to groups of students and participants at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. They will also have a chance to get feedback from their peers, IMTA alumni and IMTA faculty.
The main conference day is scheduled for Friday, May 21st. It will focus on the exchange of views and experiences on how to best integrate business practices into effective teaching. A part of the event will consist of the IMTA Alumni Annual Meeting in which participants will discuss past and future activities of the association and related organizational matters.
