The Challenge:Future Gala event will take place in Bled, Slovenia on May 18 under the honorary patronage of the President of Slovenia, Dr Danilo Turk and will feature keynote addresses by Joel Barker, author and futurist, and Donald Johnston, OECD Secretary-General 1996-2006.
This prominent event will serve as the culmination of an eight-month-long global student competition on innovations for a sustainable future, founded by Third Millennium Knowledge sustainability lab, Slovenia, CEEMAN, and IEDC-Bled School of Management.

Your participation in this not-for-profit event will also make a real difference in the lives of the students from the most remote parts of the world, as the registration fees for the Gala will contribute to youth travel to Bled, making Challenge:Future the most accessible, fair, and empowering student competition in the world.
Since the launch of the competition in September 2009, over 13,000 students from 960 institutions and more than 184 countries have registered on the Challenge:Future online platform, not only competing in the main contest but also participating in weekly and monthly challenges, hot topic discussions, and supporting competing teams with their votes.
The Challenge:Future Awards to be delivered at the Gala include the grand award of EUR 20,000 to the winning student team, as well as the Most Innovative School award.
