The 6th IMTA Alumni Conference “Faculty Development Approaches and Methods: Learning from Best Practices” will be held at the National Research University – Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia.
The conference will consist of the following three inter-related events:
In the afternoons of 18-19 May, IMTA alumni will have the opportunity to lecture on various management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and leadership-related topics to students in Master Studies at the HSE and receive feedback on their teaching from peers and IMTA faculty. The program can accommodate the total number of eight 90-minute lectures.
The main conference day is scheduled for 20 May. It will focus on the exchange of views and experiences on faculty development approaches and methods. The respective best practices will include those at personal level, as well as at the institutional and inter-institutional/international levels. An integral part of the event will be IMTA Alumni Meeting, in which participants will discuss future activities of the association and the related organizational matters. The event will end with the conference dinner.
In the morning of 21 May IMTA alumni will have social program (bus sightseeing tour of Moscow and/or visit to the Kremlin, while the afternoon is reserved for networking and individual preferences). An average price is EUR 50 (depending on the number of participants).
Within the International Teaching Week, Prof. Arshad Ahmad and Milenko Gudić (IMTA Managing Director) will provide master-classes for HSE students. IMTA alumni and Conference guests are welcome to attend.
The IMTA Alumni Conference fee is EUR 100. It covers conference materials, refreshments and meals during the conference.
