SGH Warsaw School of Economics team in the finals of 21st Scotiabank International Case Competition

From 17-22 March a group of SGH (Warsaw School of Economics) students under the supervision of Maria Aluchna, PhD from the School’s Faculty of Management participated in the 21st Scotiabank International Case Competition organised at University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Canada.

Altogether there were 11 international teams participating in the Competition: from New Zealand (University of Otago), Hungary (Corvinus University of Budapest), Norway (Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration NHH), Spain (ESADE Business School), Thailand (Thammasat University), Singapore (National University of Singapore), Germany (Münster School of Business and Economics), South Korea (Korea University Business School, KUBS), Brasil (Fundaçăo Getulio Vargas), Mexico (ITAM - Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) and the team from Warsaw School of Economics.

Our team succeeded in qualifying to the top three and was the only finalist to repeat its last year’s success. The winning team came from the National University of Singapore.
