CU European Campus officially opened

On April 8th 2019, France Caucasus University European Campus officially opened on the premises of Rennes School of Business, France.

An important first-time event for the Georgian universities the agreement marks a milestone for the internationalisation and European integration for Caucasus University, one of the leading Georgian HEI’s. The Agreement signed by the President of Caucasus University and International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) Prof. Kakha Shengelia and Prof. Thomas Froehlicher, Director-General and Dean of Rennes School of Business, Triple Crown - AACSB, EQUIS-and AMBA accreditation holder.  

This New campus aims for close and innovative cooperation between the two institutions with the view of promoting and servicing the development of research and academic capacity and expanding exchange and joint programmes and projects. An outstanding undertaking on the part of Caucasus University, the campus aims to be a face and a representative of the Georgian Higher Education in Europe. 

The main aim for establishing the European campus is better integration of Caucasus University, its students and academic personnel into European educational space, to further expand and broaden the process of internationalization of CU academic programs and research activities and allow the parties to share knowledge and experience. Specifically, the initiative includes joint activities in the following areas:

  • Setting up a joint research center
  • Developing a DBA programme
  • Developing double degree programmes
  • Working on faculty co –affiliation policy
  • Students, faculty and staff member exchange
  • Special short-term programmes and projects exchange and/or cooperation

Caucasus University and Rennes School of Business look forward to establishing this new unique and fruitful cooperation.
