KROK Business School instructors team who deliver courses on the Master of Mediation and Conflict Management program have participated in the training for mediation trainers held at the Biznesa Augstskola Turība (Riga, Latvia) as part of the MEDIATS project, supported by the European Union and Erasmus +. A powerful team of mediation trainers from the Netherlands, Latvia and Spain have transferred knowledge and skills to those who will teach mediation in Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan – according the program and methodology of The Nederlandse Business Academy (NLBA).
Throughout the week, participants learned about the art of mediation, not just gaining a solid theoretical base, but constantly participating as mediators, observers, and parties of the conflict. During this time the training participants acquired the skills of practical mediation, learned many real cases, got acquainted with the level of mediation development in the Netherlands and Latvia, took the best experience from the trainers of the MEDIATS project - Jan van Zwieten, Dana Rone, Gea van Klompenburg, Marjon Kuipers. During the training, the participants visited the Saeima, the Parliament of Latvia.
The acquired knowledge and skills will be used not only during the classes on the Master of Mediation and Conflict Management program, but also for the development of mediators community in Ukraine.
