Through the first two days, partners focused on the case study methodology, learning about its use and necessary skills for teaching with case studies, as well as how to approach the writing. This part is very important as the project aims to produce several good practice examples, as well as research and teaching case studies based on sustainability practices from companies and HEIs. All these materials will be published by the end of the year and will be openly available to the wider audience for classroom use.
Last two days of the workshop partners learned about the integrated reporting - a tool that looks at how an organization's strategy, governance, performance, and prospects lead to the creation of value over the short, medium, and long term. Although gaining wide recognition and implementation at some of the world’s biggest companies, it still waits for wider acceptance within HEIs. Partners learned about the basic structure and methodology for producing the reports, as well as certain specifics more relevant for HEIs. As part of the piloting phase, all project partners will produce integrated reports on their own.
The ISSUE project has some very interesting materials in work, as well as some open events across the partner countries, so make sure to follow the project closely.
