Network expanded to include top universities in Mexico, China and Japan - Students benefit from deepening their professional knowledge and intercultural experience – MCI now boasts 276 partner universities around the world.

The MCI is expanding its network in the Pacific region with three new first-class partner universities: The IPADE Business School in Mexico, the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in China and the Tokyo International University in Japan. The MCI's international network thus comprises 276 partner universities on all continents. The three latest partner university additions are aimed at students of economics and business administration, whereby Shanghai University also represents an interesting option for IT students at MCI. The cooperation agreements are mutual, which means that students from the university partners are eligible to study at MCI.

The IPADE Business School is part of the Universidad Panamericana and was founded by Mexican business owners in 1967. It has achieved top positions in various rankings - for example, in Forbes Magazine and the Wall Street Journal. The university headquarters is in Mexico City, the cultural, political and economic center of Mexico. The agreement with the IPADE Business School allows MCI students to study in Mexico City for various lengths of time. Students can complete the classic one-semester abroad, although shorter stays are also possible, which would be of particular interest for part-time students.

On the other side of the Pacific Ocean is where Tokyo International University can be found, one of Japan's most international universities with a wide range of English-language courses for foreign students. Students of the Bachelor Degree program Business & Management can attend Tokyo International University for one semester. Tokyo is currently the focus of international interest, as it will host the Olympic Summer Games in July and August of 2020.

China, the world’s second largest economy is home to the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SHUFE). It is managed by the Chinese Ministry of Education and is the oldest university in China to focus on finance and economics. As China's most important industrial city, Shanghai is inextricably linked to its economic rise. The SUFE is open to MCI students from the Bachelor Degree program in Management, Communication & IT or the Master Degree program in International Business & Management.
