The Art Zone at the FME is an arranged space that was created in the hall on the first floor of the Faculty building. In principle, it will support Tri-City art - people with a passion for creating it, who can exhibit and promote their works for free. Due to restrictions, you may see the exhibition in the short movies, from every place in the world!

As part of the exhibition, open vernissages will be organized for the academic and the Tri-City community. The Art Zone was created not only for talented students, graduates and employees of the Gdańsk University of Technology, but also for cooperation with other universities, institutions and artists from the Tri-City. Every 2-3 months, the exhibitions will change so we encourage you to follow the news and visit the space personally after the restrictions are lifted. What is up right now?

#VoicesOfFreedom #YoungDesingers vol.6

The exhibition presents selected posters made by students of the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, which were created in the Poster Design and Advertising Forms Studio / prof. Sławomir Witkowski and Workshop of Social Propaganda / prof. Jacek Staniszewski. Posters are the voice of the young generation of designers on the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, social relations, solidarity and various aspects of freedom. Some of the posters make us aware that our freedom ends where civil rights are not respected, where addictions begin (e.g. consumerism), where there is an armed conflict or when we simply (or even) do not respect the right to freedom of another human being and nature. They are committed and thoughtful posters.

POSTERS # 5 exhibition

It is the a part of the series of presentations of Karolina Podoska's posters, created in 2020. The presented posters talk about culture, art and contemporary topics. In her works, moreover, the author likes to combine various elements of expression such as: hand drawing, painter's gesture or photography, which makes each new project a creative adventure and a new challenge for her. The project was implemented with the financial support of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Click here to watch a video: https://youtu.be/DMw1AaqZIYs
