CEEMAN Annual Conferences

CEEMAN Annual Conference is the central event of the association, held each year in a different country in cooperation with a local member institution. Annual Conferences are organized around topics of particular relevance to management and leadership development in dynamically changing environments.

19th CEEMAN Annual Conference
21-24 September 2011, Tbilisi, Georgia

 

CEEMAN’s 19^th Annual Conference “Management Education in a Changing World: Are We Ready for the Challenge?” was held on 21-24 September 2011 in Tbilisi, Georgia, hosted by Caucasus University, Caucasus Business School, and gathered 130 participants from 32 countries.

It explored whether, and to what extent, the ongoing processes of change and transformation in business education and leadership development are aligned with the dramatic changes taking place in the world in general and in business in particular, and focused on the changes taking place in the global and local landscape, explores business and management education opportunities and challenges in Caucasus region and in a broader perspective of emerging markets, as well as whether or not business education and leadership development are on track and in alignment with previously assessed context (in terms of teaching, research, institution building, and other aspects).
