CEEMAN Annual Conference is the central event of the association, held each year in a different country in cooperation with a local member institution. Annual Conferences are organized around topics of particular relevance to management and leadership development in dynamically changing environments.

CEEMAN's 18th Annual Conference will be held on 23-25 September 2010 in Caserta (near Naples), Italy, hosted by Coca-Cola HBC Italia and its General Manager Ulrik Nehammer. The general theme of the conference will be "New Global Performance Challenges and Implications for Management Development".
The aim of the conference is to give participants a better understanding of the corporate, sectoral, regional, and national aspects of current challenges and opportunities and to learn lessons from them. Participants will be exposed to the experiences of numerous players, many operating in dynamically changing environments and/or dealing with issues of huge economic restructuring and social transformation. This will stimulate awareness of the great need and demand for competent and responsible leaders capable of leading their organizations in an economically sound, environmentally friendly, and socially responsible way. It will also facilitate an exchange of views on the implications for management development in terms of programs, materials, and processes as well as in the areas of research and faculty development.

The venue of the conference, Crowne Plaza Caserta (http://www.crowneplaza-caserta.com/) is about 20 minutes away by car from the centre of Naples and 25 minutes from Naples International Airport Capodichino. It is close to Caserta town centre and conveniently located for visiting the Royal Palace and the San Leucio Complex, both of which are Unesco World Heritage sites, or for those who wish to combine their stay with visits to Naples or world-famous archaeological sites such as Paestum, Pompeii or Herculaneum, or see the enchanting little towns along the Amalfi Coast.
