CEEMAN offers a range of programs and events for management educators - faculty, management and staff.

Faculty development programsimta_logo

  • IMTA - International Management Teachers Academy, co-sponsored by the Open Society Institute and IEDC-Bled School of Management, provides a high-quality course for junior faculty in the field of management. So far close to 350 participants from 113 institutions in 32 countries from all over the world have attended this major faculty development program.
  • IMTA Educational Material Development Program aimed at developing individual faculty case writing and research skills and producing world-class case material and research publications.
  • The IMTA Alumni Association has created a platform for mutual communication and cooperation among IMTA alumni and their respective institutions, and a mechanism through which CEEMAN provides continuous support to their professional growth and the development of their institutions.

Strengthening managerial and leadership capabilities in business schools

  • The annual CEEMAN Deans and Directors Meetings regularly address key issues faced by management development institutions and their leaders.
  • Managing Business Schools (MBS) courses - high-level educational programs for deans and directors of management schools - have been customized to meet the specific needs of business schools and other management development institutions at different levels of development in different sub-regions

Developing program management function and operational excellencepms

The Program Management Seminar is intended for program managers and program coordinators engaged in various aspects of program management functions at business schools and other management development institutions. It covers three basic conceptual frameworks: positioning the program management function into the overall functioning of business schools; standards and procedures for effective program management and operational excellence; and program management as a professional career.

Developing consultancy capabilities

The Consultancy for Management Educators program, designed by highly skilled and internationally recognized professionals, covers professional and business approaches, conceptual frameworks and methodological tools for consultancy to large corporations and SMEs as well as guidance on how to develop consultancy skill and integrate consultancy into the practice-relevant educational portfolio.
