International Management Teachers Academy IMTA - International Management Teachers Academy, co-sponsored by the Open Society Institute and IEDC-Bled School of Management, provides a high-quality course for junior faculty in the field of management. So far close to 350 participants from 113 institutions in 32 countries from all over the world have attended this major faculty development program. The IMTA Alumni Association has created a platform for mutual communication and cooperation among IMTA alumni and their respective institutions, and a mechanism through which CEEMAN provides continuous support to their professional growth and the development of their institutions. The Program Management Seminar is intended for program managers and program coordinators engaged in various aspects of program management functions at business schools and other management development institutions. It covers three basic conceptual frameworks: positioning the program management function into the overall functioning of business schools; standards and procedures for effective program management and operational excellence; and program management as a professional career. CEEMAN Annual Conference is the central event of the association, held each year in a different country in cooperation with a local member institution. Annual Conferences are organized around topics of particular relevance to management and leadership development in dynamically changing environments. CEEMAN organizes an annual CEEMAN Case Writing Competition with the aim of generating case-work on business and managerial issues in countries in transition and other dynamically changing environments. International Quality Accreditation Initially, CEEMAN IQA was targeted for business schools and management development institutions operating in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2007, the program has been redesigned to address the needs of schools and institutions, public and private, that operate in emerging markets and transition economies. It is aimed at benefiting all the parties involved in the management development process, namely business schools, students in degree programs, participants in management education seminars, employers, and the local business community.
