Survey results: Poverty as a Challenge for Management Education

Building on the responses from the 2008 CEEMAN survey on Management Education: Corporate Social Responsibility and Poverty, this survey captures teaching innovations related to poverty issues across management courses at all levels of management education (undergraduate, MBA, EMBA and PhD). CEEMAN and the UN Global Compact Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) co-sponsored the survey.

The preliminary results of the survey, based on 227 responses from 48 countries, were presented in the 2nd Global Forum for Responsible Management Education on 23 June in New York.

After the Forum, the survey was further extended and gathered total of 377 responses from 51 countries, with results presented at the CEEMAN Deans and Directors Meeting "New Performance Challenges for Management Development Institutions" on September 23 in Caserta, Italy.
