In order to explore and sustain designing of curious life, this book comes in chapters that help to choose the paths of what and why to design a curious life, then followed by how to design this curiosity. Therefore, after introducing how we create our world by introducing curiosity design, we start to appreciate all the known types of curiosity.

The 26th CEEMAN Annual Conference took place on 19-21 September 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic. The event, bearing the title "Redefining Management Education: Excellence and Relevance”, was hosted and co-organized by University of New York in Prague.

This issue of CEEMAN News focuses on the recently concluded programs Leading the Way in Management Development and EdTech and includes an important announcement about the 27th CEEMAN Annual Conference location and co-host.

The focal point of this edition of CEEMAN News is the 26th CEEMAN Annual Conference: it gives you a comprehensive overview over the events and festivities that took place in Prague on 19-21 September 2018.

We are pleased to share with you a report on CEEMAN activities in the academic year 2017/2018. It was a successful year for CEEMAN, with some great breakthroughs in terms of international research and publications, while our flagship programs continued attracting interest from participants all around the world.

Officially launched at the 26th CEEMAN Annual Conference in Prague, the CEEMAN Manifesto “Changing the Course of Management Development: Combining Excellence with Relevance” marks an important milestone for CEEMAN and its members: it is a publication and call to action at the same time, seeking to encourage management education institutions to examine their mission and strategy and determine whether both excellence and relevance are sufficiently featured in those.

The Lead4Skills research partnership lead by CEEMAN is proud to present the project outcomes including The Cross Country Report on Management Development Needs, Guidelines for Management and Leadership Skills Development and a Teaching Case Study Collection. All materials are openly available for use.

"Business and Society: Making Management Education Relevant for the 21st Century" is the result of a research project coordinated by CEEMAN and IEDC-Bled School of Management in 11 countries that lasted over two years. The main objective of the research, having conducted in-depth interviews with more than 200 CEOs and HR managers, was to achieve a better understanding of emerging business challenges as well as management and leadership development needs.

The summer 2018 edition of CEEMAN News puts special emphasis on the upcoming CEEMAN Annual Conference in Prague and the association's 25th anniversary that will be celebrated there. In line with that, it features an interview with Roger Martin, one of the most innovative management thinkers of our time, as he will be one of the keynote speakers at the conference. The issue also gives you an account of our ongoing as well as recently concluded events, and introduces you to the exciting new workshop CEEMAN is launching for top leadership teams for the first time this year. CEEMAN member and partner organizations are also included sharing information on upcoming events, updates, and research insights.

Exploring Inspiration Economy is a book that explains the relation of Behavioural Economics based Inspiration that use the Intrinsic powers of (individuals, organisations and communities) to address socio-economic needs. The 2018 spring issue of CEEMAN News features »Reflections on the IMTA Journey«, an exciting account about the beginnings and development of IMTA through the years by IMTA Director Jim Ellert. It also contains information on the keynote speaker at this year's CEEMAN Annual Conference, Roger Martin, and Kai Peters, who is joining the Program Management Seminar as faculty member. CEEMAN is also launching an engaging and insightful new workshop for top leadership teams. As usual, the issue features several announcements for our events and programs coming up in the next months, and a range of interesting updates from our members and partners.

We are happy to let you know that a new book on reflections on teaching and learning, edited by IMTA 2016 alumni Wolfgang Amann of HEC Paris in Qatar and Jenson Goh of the National University of Singapore, was published at the end of 2017 by Information Age Publishing. It appears as a volume in the Research in Management Education and Development series (editors Agata Stachowicz-Stanusch of the Silesian University of Technology and Wolfgang Amann).

Resilience is highly used in science and arts almost every day while we might not see it linked to our existence. With resilience and resilient mindset, we would see and appreciate many things in our life and where we could optimise the influence to our socio-economy.

The Winter Edition of CEEMAN News brings you an interview with the winners of CEEMAN Champion Awards 2017. CEEMAN IQA director Dr. Alenka Braček Lalić explains how IQA promotes a new model of management education. In the series “25 Years of CEEMAN “our board members share with us their thoughts on what are the main challenges for CEEMAN in the future. You can also find a report about a new CEEMAN seminar – EdTech, and some very interesting news from our members.

Redefining Success: Integrating Sustainability into Management Education (edited by Patricia M. Flynn, Tay Keong Tan, Milenko Gudić) advocates incorporating sustainability concepts that go beyond the financial ‘bottom line’ into management education and business practice. Highlighting the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), it explores conceptual and practical issues, presents case studies and other empirical evidence, and offers solutions that will both encourage and assist management educators in the incorporation of sustainability into their courses and research. incorporating sustainability into their courses and research.

25th CEEMAN Annual Conference took place from 20-22 September 2017 in Hangzhou, China. The event, focusing on the topic of "Rethinking Entrepreneurship – Challenges for Management Education in Rising Economies", was hosted and co-organized by School of Management, Zhejiang University.
