Invitation to the 10th International Doctoral Seminar - Performance of economies and enterprises

The Doctoral School of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (WUEB) is pleased to invite you to join the discussion in a series of International Doctoral Seminars which will be held online.

Objectives:

  • presentation of doctoral students' research;
  • creating an international forum of discussion between doctoral students and established academics;
  • exchange of research experience.

The topic of the tenth seminar, taking place on June 14th, 2023, 16.00-18.00 (CET): 
Performance of economies and enterprises

Program of the meeting:

16:00 – Welcome address: Prof. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska (Vice-Rector for Accreditation and International Cooperation) and Prof. Czesław Zając (Dean of Doctoral School of WUEB)

16:15 – Opening lecture by a keynote speaker: Prof. Stefan Eckert, professor for International Management, especially communication and knowledge management at the International Institute of Technische Universität Dresden since 2003. His main research areas are international corporate governance, foreign market entry strategies and the performance impact of multinationality. He has been involved in numerous doctoral procedures at the Technische Universität Dresden and other German universities as a supervisor and as a reviewer. His research contributions have been published in internationally renowned peer-reviewed journals like International Business Review, Management International Review, Multinational Business Review.

Topic: More than 50 years of research on the multinationality performance relationship. All in vain?

16:55 – Kamil Andrzejewski, Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Security Information Management Systems at Startups.

17:15 – Yichao Wan, University of Szczecin, The Impact of Green Credit on the Technology Innovation in China.

17:35 – Mehjbeen Qamar, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, The Impact of Market Microstructure on Polish Stock Market.
