«Crack It» case championship was born 7 years ago as a competition for Almaty city students. Today, Crack It has grown to an international case championship, where everyone can try themselves as a business consultant for a real business; find an internship and apply their skills in real business. We expected non–standard solutions, and the participants presented them perfectly," says Ilyas Azelkhanov, Crack It coordinator and project manager at the AlmaU School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This year the case championship was held on April 6, 2024.
This year the following business cases were offered by Kazakhstani companies:
- IZI company proposed to think over the mechanics for reaching students in terms of content in the IZI application
- Constella company invited the participants to develop a marketing strategy for popularization among the target audience from 17+ to 35 (youth) and the development of online sales in Kazakhstan
- ZARDOZI company asked to develop a marketing strategy to promote the premium brand ZARDOZI Made in QAZAQSTAN
- KazBeef company invited the participants to develop a strategy for double sales, large retail chains with their own production, and the end consumer
- The Senior Club project asked to develop a marketing strategy to promote the club and increase its membership circle
In 180 minutes, the participants in teams of 3-5 people presented their decisions to the jury, and the winners won internships and prizes from companies.
