The winners of the 19th CEEMAN Case Writing Competition, which was conducted in cooperation with Emerald Group Publishing, were announced at the gala dinner of the 21st CEEMAN Annual Conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 27 September.

The 2013 CEEMAN Champion Awards were delivered at the gala dinner of the 21st CEEMAN Annual Conference on 27 September.

Bled (Slovenia): An international management development association CEEMAN, gathering 213 members from 53 countries, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. This important milestone was celebrated by CEEMAN annual conference, attended by 170 participants, a new book titled 'CEEMAN – 20 years of creating history, and gala event, with CEEMAN 2013 Champion Awards ceremony.

Bled (Slovenia): More than 300 members of the responsible management education from 60 countries community convened in Bled, Slovenia, to discuss the continued creation of a new intellectual, research, teaching, and institutional agenda that develops leaders for the future we want. At the 2013 PRME Summit – 5th Annual Assembly, co-organized by international association for leadership development in dynamic societies CEEMAN, which is celebrating 20th anniversary this year, also 2013 Chair of the PRME Steering Committee, and the PRME Secretariat, business school leaders, faculty, researchers, and students, along with representatives from business, government, and civil society engaged in spirited discourse and shared recent lessens from the global landscape of responsible management education.

The 19th CEEMAN Case Writing Competition attracted an impressive number of submissions from all over the world. A total number of 54 cases, written by 113 authors and co-authors from 65 institutions in 25 countries (Australia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Chile, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Jamaica, Lithuania, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and USA) were submitted for the competition that is organized in cooperation with Emerald Group Publishing. Among the authors were also management faculties from four CEEMAN member institutions, including IMTA alumni.

For the seventh time IMTA alumni will hold the annual conference of their association of 415 members from 126 institutions in 34 countries. The event took place on 26-27 April 2012 at the ISM University of Management and Economics, Vilnius, Lithuania on the initiative of its president, Nerijus Pacesa (an IMTA 2003 alumnus).

There is a significant amount of innovation, adventure and soul-searching in our business and management schools. Thoughtful and well-trained people are conducting careful, rigorous research into responsible management education.

Bled, 17 June 5, 2013 - 14th edition of the International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA) organized by CEEMAN, successfully accomplished at IEDC-Bled School of Management. This year, 28 participants from 17 countries came to Bled to attend this major European faculty development program, which attracts participants from all over the world.

The 8th IMTA Alumni Conference on "Leading Change in Business Schools: The Role of International Accreditation and Faculty Development" was held on 24-25 May at the Russian Academy of National Economy under the President of Russia (RANEPA). The event gathered around 20 IMTA alumni from several generations, IMTA faculty, and other participants from Belarus, Latvia, Romania, Russia, Serbia and USA. It was organized and hosted by the Change Management master's program and its head Timur Atnahev, IMTA 2008 and 2012 alumnus from the IBS-Moscow at RANEPA, with the support of Alexander Abashkin, head of the International Cooperation Department at RANEPA.

PRME Working Group on Fighting Poverty through Management Education is organizing on 24-25 September a series of workshops in advance and in the context of the 2013 PRME Summit – 5th Annual Assembly (25-27 September, Bled, Slovenia).

Prof. Danica Purg, President of CEEMAN, is the new PRME Steering Committee Chair for 2013. The Principles for Responsible Management Education initiative (PRME), started by United Nations Global Compact in 2007, now unites close to 500 business schools from 80 countries that strive for responsible management education.

The 18th CEEMAN Case Writing Competition in cooperation with Emerald Group Publishing attracted again an impressive number of submissions from all over the world, and the winners were announced at the 20th CEEMAN Annual Conference in Cape Town on 28 September.

On the final day of the 20th CEEMAN Annual Conference, which took place in Cape Town, South Africa from 26 to 28 September, the CEEMAN Champion Awards were officially announced.
