The Said T. Khoury Chair of Leadership Studies

The Said T. Khoury Chair of Leadership Studies was created in early 2019 in the School of Business Administration at AUS in the UAE. The Chair, held by Professor Virginia Bodolica, seeks to develop a well-established knowledge platform in the Middle Eastern region for the generation, dissemination, and promotion of impactful leadership studies, practices, and insights. Leadership is defined in its broadest sense that can embrace different connotations, be a property of a person, team or entire organization, and manifest itself at various levels and across industry boundaries, and cultural and regulatory settings. Currently, the Chair pursues several research projects with an emphasis on corporate leadership (e.g., top management teams and board of directors’ processes and dynamics) through a cross-disciplinary lens.
