Gulnara Kurenkeyeva is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Republican Center for Health Development (RCRP) under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Supervisory Board of the City Clinical Hospital No. 4, Candidate of Economic Sciences.

The CEEMAN Award (International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies) has been held since 2010 with the mission to highlight the high achievements of representatives among CEEMAN members in the teaching, research, responsible management education, and institutional management categories.
The award was received at the 29th CEEMAN Annual Conference (22-24 September 2021 in Trieste, Italy) on 23 September.
This is not the first award of AlmaU in the CEEMAN Champions Award, in the past years, the staff and teachers of the university were champions in 2014 and 2017.
