On September 29 - 30, 2022, within the framework of the VII Youth Forum of the World Petroleum Council "Energy Transition: Dialogue of Generations", the final of the third season of the team competition "StudentDigitalFest-2022" was held in Almaty. The 7 best teams met in the final. Among the finalists were "MAYDAI" and "Dispose" from the School of Digital Technology.
The uniqueness of the competition is that within the framework of each technical task it was necessary to develop a solution with elements of digitization or process automation. For four months, 21 teams worked on the task.
The winner of "StudentDigitalFest-2022" became AlmaU team "Dispose" in the nomination "Automated Waste Management System". The competition was attended by teams from other universities, such as: Astana IT-university, MUIT, Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, KBTU and Nazarbayev University.
The main goal of the competition is to support the initiatives and innovative projects of Kazakhstani youth to develop technological solutions in the field of digitalization.
