The support is based on the new approach towards doctoral studies in Latvia, namely to introduce a new doctoral study model which envisages internal or external financial support. It also aims at enhancing the quality of doctoral studies leading to a successful defence of the research proposal, thus increasing the research capacity at universities.
The studies of two doctoral students studying at the joint doctoral study program “Business Management” are supported by European Social Fund, project No.8.2.2.0/20/I/008.
Dr. Liga Peiseniece, the rector of BASBF comments that the approach of a new doctoral study model will facilitate the growth of young researchers needed in all fields of national economy.
