CEEMAN welcomes six new members

CEEMAN is happy to introduce several new members to its diverse community – institutional, corporate and individual members alike.

Established in 1998 with a focus on finance and banking, WSB University in Gdańsk is among Poland's top private institutions of higher learning. Their greatest pride are the thousands of alumni who have succesfully entered an increasingly challenging job market. So far, WSB Gdańsk have been trusted by over 400,000 students, of which over 1,000 hail from various countries. WSB is the largest group of non-public universities in Poland operating for over 20 years. The Faculty of Management of Częstochowa University of Technology has a 25-year tradition of educating management specialists. The scientific and research mission of the Faculty of Management is to create utilitarian, theory-based solutions to contemporary organizational, management and engineering challenges that can be implemented in various types of organizations. The Faculty of Management employs over 200 scientific and academic staff. Over 2,200 students study at the Faculty of Management, and the studies are conducted at the bachelor's, engineering and master's level. The design and project management studies at the Faculty of Management are accredited by the International Project Management Association Polska in the field of IPMA-Student certification.

Prof. Gyöngyi Könyű-Fogel is the most recent individual member to join CEEMAN. She teaches at California Southern University, where she is also a doctoral dissertation chair. Prof. Könyű-Fogel's first CEEMAN experience was her participation at the 30th CEEMAN Annual Conference where she wasn't only part of the 30-year celebrations and engaging debates about the future of management education, but also presented her paper »Management Education in Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous (VUCA) Work Environments: Trends & Challenges« at CEEMAN's Poster Session.
