Danica Purg receives a National Order of the Legion, premier order of the French Republic

Her Excellency, Mrs. Florence Ferrari, French Ambassador to Slovenia, awarded Prof. Danica Purg, Dean and Director of IEDC-Bled School of Management and President of CEEMAN with the highest French order of merit: National Order of the Legion of Honour (Chevalier de l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur). The ceremony took place at the French residence in Ljubljana on December 5, 2018.

With this prestigious award, the Republic of France expressed its gratitude and respect for Prof. Purg’s dedication and support in strengthening bilateral relations among France and Slovenia, especially in the field of management education.

Prof. Purg has throughout her career built strong relationships with the French universities and business schools, including INSEAD, Grenoble Ecole de Management, EDHEC, University of Aix-en-Provence, ESSCA, Euromed Marseille (now KEDGE), IDRAC, and others. She has also served on international advisory boards of EDHEC and ESSCA, and several French business schools have been members and active contributors to CEEMAN. Over 100 participants from France have attended IEDC programs since 1986.
