The World Chinese Language Conference 2023 was organized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and co-hosted by the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation. About 3,700 participants from more than 160 countries took part.
MCI emerged as the Gold Medal Institution, while Yiqiao Wang proudly secured the title of Gold Medal Teacher. The jury at the conference commended the “MCI Online Chinese Classroom” for its innovative approach, seamlessly blending online teaching with offline activities through a unique learning concept.

About MCI Online Chinese Classroom
The MCI Online Chinese Classroom is a language learning program which was launched in February 2023 by MCI’s Language Center and China Center. The attractive program received significant attention, reaching full capacity within just one week. Its interactive online lectures, complemented by an extensive digital library featuring practical exercises, offer students the flexibility to learn Chinese at all proficiency levels while immersing themselves in Chinese culture from any location and at any time.
