Early Registrations Special Offer for 2017 CEEMAN Development Programs

Early registrations for IMTA-International Management Teachers Academy and Program Management Seminar are currently available. Plan to send candidates for both programs and register them before 21 December 2016 to receive additional 20% reduction on the early-bird fee for one participant in the Program Management Seminar.

As we all know, the success of management education programs depends on a number of factors, two of the most important ones being faculty performance and operational excellence that greatly influences participants’ experience and satisfaction with the program as well as with the institution that offers it.

That is why in CEEMAN, we are running two programs specifically designed to address faculty development and program management issues in order to support teaching development with program management development:

-          International Management Teachers Academy (IMTA), 11-22 June 2017 in Bled, Slovenia –a faculty development program led by experienced and internationally renowned faculty:

  • Prof. Jim Ellert, Academic Director of IMTA, Emeritus Professor and Former Dean of Faculty, IMD, Switzerland, visiting professor, IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia
  • Prof. Joe Pons, President of AXIOMA Marketing Consultants, previously Marketing Professor at IESE International Graduate School of Management, Spain
  • Prof. JB Kassarjian, Emeritus Professor, IMD, Switzerland and Professor of Management at Babson College, USA
  • Prof. Krzysztof Obloj, Professor of Strategic Management at the School of Management at Warsaw University and Kozminski University, Poland
  • Prof. Arshad Ahmad, Associate Vice President at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Director of McMaster’s Institute for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning
  • Prof. Tony F. Buono, Professor of Management and Sociology and Executive Director, Bentley Alliance for Ethics and Social Responsibility, USA

Part 1 of IMTA: general aspects of teaching and learning, course design, case teaching and writing, class management and assessment, educator’s career progression and balance, etc. Part 2: selection of disciplinary tracks, how to teach specific disciplines, lots of useful teaching tools, interdisciplinary sessions.

-          Program Management Seminar, 5-7 April 2017 in Bled, Slovenia - a three-day program for  program managers, administrators and directors that deals with topics of design, promotion and delivery of educational programs to help initiate, develop, organize, coordinate and streamline program management processes and methodologies.
