Faculty Job Openings at Alba Graduate Business School

Call for Assistant or Associate Professors at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece (Athens, Greece), positions available from January 2022 onwards.

The Alba Graduate Business School (Alba) seeks full time faculty members at the Rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the areas of:

  • Operations with some emphasis in Business Analytics
  • Operations with some emphasis in Shipping Operations/Logistics

The faculty openings are in:

1.   The Research track: Ideal candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in the above fields, have great teaching experience and strong publications record in top academic journals (ABS 4* and 4; Associate Professorships) or the potential to do so (Assistant Professorships).

2.   The track “In the Practice of”: Ideal candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in the above fields, have great teaching experience and also administration experience/institutional building, and pursue applied and business relevant research.

The positions are available on January 2022 onwards.

Alba, founded in 1992 as an independent, non-profit, research-driven, graduate business school in a unique and continuing partnership with the Greek business community, and since 2017, is the Graduate Business School of The American College of Greece (ACG), to pursue within a broader institutional framework Alba’s historic mission and vision. All Alba MBA programs are accredited by AMBA, two MSc programs are accredited by EPAS while the School is accredited by NECHE. The School is in the process to be evaluated for AACSB accreditation. 

ACG sees Alba as a cornerstone in realizing its vision to establish ACG as the premier private, comprehensive educational institution in southeastern Europe. ACG, accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) in the US since 1981, encompasses three educational divisions (4,800 students / 400 faculty): Alba Graduate Business School - 700 students in MBA and specialized masters, plus an extensive executive education program; DEREE College – 2,900 undergraduate and graduate students; PIERCE College - 1,200 students in grades seven through twelve.
