Faculty of the Economics and Management is one of the three educational and administrative pillars of Lazarski University. It is modern in its organizational structure and internationally oriented unit. They believe that in order to deliver a good and updated business education they need to keep on learning themselves first. In terms of a synergy between teaching and research, the Faculty of Economics and Management perceives itself as a practice-oriented teaching unit with a reasonable component of research contributing to teaching processes and activities. The strategy of the Faculty of Economics and Management includes the excellence – relevance balance in research and teaching in the sense of linking research with core program elements (courses, specialization paths) and keeping faculty staff adequately diversified (academics and professionals). The Faculty of Economics and Management sets its strategic priorities clearly, among others: a practical dimension of study programs (with own applied research components introduced by teachers) which afterwards will lead to the improvements in accuracy of performance measurement methods, clearly oriented market research areas, transparency of all undertaken processes and an effective communication with all types of stakeholders.
