On behalf of the CEEMAN and IEDC–Bled School of Management faculty and staff, we express our deepest condolences to his wife Irina Sennikova, the family and friends of Boriss and the entire RISEBA University staff and students.
Throughout his academic career, Prof. Kurovs had a vision to transform management education in Central and Eastern Europe in which he played a pivotal role in the establishment of RISEBA. Through his exemplary leadership, RISEBA grew from its humble beginnings to becoming a beacon of academic excellence and innovation not just in Latvia but across the globe. As one of the first members of CEEMAN, RISEBA under Professor Kurovs’ leadership contributed significantly to the development of management education in emerging economies. His vision, leadership, and commitment to excellence have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us in the years to come.
He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with our dear friends in Latvia during this difficult time.
