Ivo Matser has a wealth of expertise leading and managing organizational change in both private academic institutions and the corporate sector of business. Before overseeing enterprises in real estate, publishing, and professional services, he started his career in the sports business.
He has served as the chief executive officer, president, and dean of four private institutions of higher education since 2001: SWOT Business School (NL), TSM Business School (NL), ISM University of Management and Economics (LT), and GISMA Business School (D, UK). Ivo also serves as an assessor for numerous international institutions seeking accreditation. He regularly presents at conferences and works as a boardroom consultant for businesses to build and implement strategies.
International teams are interesting because of the different cultural backgrounds of the members of the teams. The most intriguing and crucial part of comprehending these cultures is knowing how to cope with them and how to affect processes. Based on academic research and hundreds of data points from real-world international business experience, the lecture was created to be extremely practical.
The lecture was both a teaching session and a workshop. Ivo Matser covered the ideas and theories of working in multinational teams in just 60 minutes. He also set up a workshop to demonstrate the results of that theory in practice.
