KROK Business School quickly adapts to change

The COVID-19 pandemic promptly corrected the plans of everyone in the world. In quarantine situation, when governments of the most countries recommended citizens to stay at home. Under such unusual conditions majority of business schools faced with a challenge how to organized study process without interruption and how not to lose clients, find a new ones and successfully adapt programs to total online learning? The KROK Business School team demonstrated ability to quickly navigate and change the format and transfer all existing programs to online mode, as well as to launch several innovative projects.

The staff of the KROK Business School began to work remotely. In addition, in order to carry out effective personnel management, the following actions were undertaken:

  • weekly video staff meetings in Zoom 
  • BSK Staff  and BSK Faculty Groups in Facebook Messenger to ensure quick  exchange of information and discuss urgent issues
  • used of Office 365 technology and special list for setting and monitoring the daily goals and objectives of employees, where administration can track their productivity and task fulfillment administration

After organizing administrative staff work in remote format, one of the main tasks for the KROK Business School was to ensure uninterrupted student learning on ongoing programs.

The Moodle platform was already used earlier for distance learning. Now it was supplemented by using additional IT tools such as Zoom, MS Teams of Office365, Youtube. BSK instructors demonstrated quick readiness for change, adaptive thinking and quick development of teaching skills in new mode.

The faculty team demonstrated high dynamics and readiness to turn around and learn new technologies to maintain students engagement during classes delivery. Now, the number of programs such as MBA, Mini MBA, Master of Global Business Management, Master of Mediation and Conflict Management, Certified Creativity Professional Programs we be delivered in online format to ensure continuity of the learning process, and we are in touch 24/7 with our students and clients.

One of the key goals of the KROK Business School over quarantine time is to provide support, inspiration, and stay in touch with current clients and get new ones. To achieve this goal, we launched the following projects:

  • A three-week online marathon of webinars in which KROK Business School faculty as well as guest speakers from business delivered 22 on-line master classes on various topics. Facebook group “Quarantine and Crisis” - gathered an audience of 800 people.
  • World Creativity and Innovation Week on April 11-17, 2020: 15 online presentations by 15 experts about creativity
  • Launch of the survey “How did quarantine affect your business?”
  • Preparation of relevant useful content for entrepreneurs and managers on social media, articles, publications and book recommendations.

We are sure that thanks to immediate decisions and openness to act in a new way, KROK Business School demonstrates client-oriented service, capacity to change business processes quickly, satisfy the needs and retain existing customers, and also to acquire new ones.
