In her team, Līga Peiseniece has invited Biruta Dzērve, the current director of financial study programs, to continue the duties of the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs and Andris Nātriņš, the current Vice-rector for research and development, to lead research and development. Both candidates have agreed to work in the management team.
Līga Peiseniece will take up the post of Rector after the approval of her powers in the Cabinet of Ministers.
