On September 29, 2023, the Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad, Consul General of India, Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre Sanjay Vedi visited Almaty Management University. The guests had a campus tour, followed by a meeting with the President and founder of AlmaU Asylbek Kozhakhmetov and the Rectorate representatives, represented by the Vice-Rectors, as well as the deans of all schools of AlmaU. During the meeting, to the Indian diplomatic delegation was presented general information about AlmaU and Vice Vice-RectorCommercialization Kendrick Davis White presented the commercialization center.
Further prospects of academic cooperation between AlmaU and Indian universities were also discussed. Deans of the School of Digital Technologies and the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation shared their intentions to enter the Indian educational market. The School of Hospitality and Tourism and AlmaU Sharmanov School of Health Sciences presented their projects, where the Indian delegation was particularly interested in the latter school with its vision of medical development.
