This April 8th and 9th, CEEMAN successfully hosted the Equation Conference in Bled, Slovenia, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing Erasmus+ gender equality project (EQUATION). This event served as a vital platform for discussing gender disparities in higher education, especially within business schools.

The conference welcomed esteemed researchers, directors, vice-deans, and HR executives from Poland, Latvia, Germany, the US, and Slovenia. Key discussions included:

  1. Framing Challenges: Analyzing the unique barriers faced by women in academia and research.
  2. Organizational Structures: Addressing the need for coherent organizational frameworks that enhance trust and inclusivity.
  3. Implementing Change: Developing practical strategies to anchor social justice and human rights in educational settings.

Coordinated by CEEMAN and in partnership with IEDC - Bled School of Management, WSB University, Vistula University, and Riga Business School, this initiative underscores our commitment to promoting sustainable institutional and cultural change across global business schools.
