15 seminars and master classes were held by 16 leading experts from Russia, Germany and Kazakhstan.
75 hours of fascinating seminars and workshops enabled the attendees to have a clear insight into advanced business technologies and discuss the vital issues of business education.
Within the English section all the master classes, presentations and interactive activities were held in English.
On June, 23 the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region had a meeting with the Summer School experts from Kazakhstan and Germany where they discussed the prospects for cooperation between Ulyanovsk Region Corporate University and the leading educational institutions of Kazakhstan, Germany and Russia with the purpose of economic and scientific development of the Ulyanovsk region.
The honored guests from Kazakhstan, Germany and Moscow arrived to sign the cooperation agreements and discuss the prospects for the region development in the field of business education:
Kozhakhmetov Asylbek Bazarbayevich, the founder and the President of Almaty Management University, CEEMAN Board member and business council under Akimat, Almaty, Kazakhstan;
Andrea Lutthans, Program Manager of German Management Academy of Lower Saxony GmbH, Celle, Germany;
Rodrigo De Melo, Lecturer in IHRM (International Human Recourse management), Member of The Leadership Research Cluster, Member of CASM (Center for Advanced Sustainable Management) research team, Cologne Business School (CBS), Germany;
Monica Kolb, Lecturer in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and Business Ethics, Researcher and Project Manager at the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM), Cologne Business School, Cologne, Germany;
Baskin Roman Valeryevich, Director of Corporate University of Russian Railways, Moscow, Russia; Shobanov Andrey Vitalyevich, Deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work, Corporate University of Russian Railways, Moscow, Russia.
Following the negotiations, the following cooperation agreements were signed:
• With German Management Academy of Lower Saxony GmbH, Celle, Germany
A tripartite cooperation agreement among the Ulyanovsk Region Government, German Management Academy of Lower Saxony GmbH and Ulyanovsk Region Corporate University was signed by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Sergey Morozov, the Program Manager of German Management Academy of Lower Saxony Gmbh Andrea Lutthans and the Executive Director of Ulyanovsk Region Corporate University YanaVansovskaya. The agreement is aimed at organizing practice-oriented trainings in Germany and establishing business contacts between Russian and German experts and business partners. One of the first internships titled "Innovative management" is planned to take place in November 2017;
• With the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management at Cologne Business School, Cologne, Germany
A Memorandum of Cooperation between the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management at Cologne Business School and Ulyanovsk Region Corporate University was signed by the Director of the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM )at Cologne Business School Professor Dr. Rene Schmidpeter and the Executive Director of the Ulyanovsk Region Corporate University Yana Vansovskaya. It is aimed at participation in joint research projects of CASM in the field of sustainable management, exchange of publications and cooperation in scientific journals, exchange of experts and organization of joint conferences and programs;
• With Corporate University of Russian Railways, Moscow, Russia
A bilateral cooperation agreement between Corporate University of Russian Railways and Ulyanovsk Region Corporate University was signed by the Director of Corporate University of Russian Railways Roman Baskin and the Executive Director of Ulyanovsk Region Corporate University Yana Vansovskaya. Following the agreement it is planned to establish joint module programs, the first of which will be "Corporate Leader", "Corporate Management" and "Lean Production".
The purpose of these agreements is the establishment of efficient and mutually beneficial cooperation and the development of academic and cultural exchange in the field of education, research and knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable management and a high living standard.
The International Summer School has facilitated the unification of the professional community, constructive exchange of ideas and successful experiences between experts and participants, as well as the establishment of a status platform for networking among experts in education.
