Ninety passionate and ambitious managers from all over Ukraine have embarked on a life-changing journey with MIM-Kyiv. They are now students of the upgraded pre-MBA “Business”, “Leadership”, and “Business Analysis” suite of programs spanning a challenging seven months.

The core of the program, which constitutes roughly one third of the curriculum, is delivered to all three classes, while the specialized courses are different and taught separately. Oleksiy Vynogradov, VP of MIM-Kyiv and director of the pre-MBA “Business” and “Business Analysis” courses, emphasized the critical importance of the core courses, saying, “These courses provide the foundational knowledge and skills that are essential for any manager, regardless of their function. All three groups will be mastering them together. The programs will utilize a HyFlex format that combines the best of both online and face-to-face learning experiences to ensure everyone's safety, while also offering access to our quality programs to those who are far away from Kyiv.”

Iryna Tykhomyrova, MIM-Kyiv's president, greeted the new students with warmth and enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome you as our students. You will not only gain new knowledge and skills but also make new friends and create unforgettable experiences. You are building the future now, and this lays the foundation for our victory and the post-war restoration. I wish you victorious studies.”

Bodo Schlegelmilch, Founder & Chair of the Institute of International Marketing Management (WU, Austria) and Head of Institute & Chair of AMBA & BGA, also extended a warm welcome to the new students, acknowledging their courage and resilience during such trying times, saying, “It takes tremendous courage to embark on studies during the war, and I admire your bravery. In times of crisis, education is a powerful tool. I hope to visit Kyiv soon. My best wishes for your challenging journey.”

Oleksandr Sudarkin, director of the pre-MBA “Leadership” program, spoke passionately about why executives and entrepreneurs should study, emphasizing that while it is possible to become a successful manager without studying in business school, professional faculty can help you become more effective and efficient. He said, “We are not magicians, but we have selected the best of evidence-based management and are applying appropriate pedagogy and facilitation methods to help you achieve your goals and excel in your career.”

With such a dynamic team of professors and students, this promises to be an incredible learning journey, filled with challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable memories.
