As part of our moral responsibility to contribute to the betterment of society, School of Business, Woxsen University has identified three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on which we focus our efforts: SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).
Under SDG 3, we conduct "Heart-Unlocked & Human Library" sessions to enhance the mental health and well-being of our student community, providing a safe space for them to discuss their concerns and receive emotional support.
For SDG 4, our Centre for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has launched "Project Aspiration," a rigorous three-week training program aimed at educating underprivileged female students and empowering them with quality education.
Finally, in alignment with SDG 7, we have pledged to become carbon neutral by 2026, showcasing our commitment to affordable and clean energy; and many more.
To ensure comprehensive integration of ERS, we operate a wide range of initiatives across our curriculum and campus life. These include sustainability-themed events, rural engagement and development projects, and project-based learning opportunities.
In celebration of our commitment to sustainability, School of Business, Woxsen University recently organized a Sustainability Week, which commenced with a tree plantation event. This initiative serves as a reminder to reconnect with the Earth and promote environmental consciousness among our students.
