In March, the new monograph was published in Elgar Handbooks in Development series, in which leading scientists from around the world present the state-of-art within the field, drawing a comprehensive picture of the issues raised. The latest publication in this prestigious series, "Research Handbook on Measuring Poverty and Deprivation," is co-authored by an employee of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, professor Marek Kośny.

He prepared a chapter on poverty in Europe, presenting the complexity of the problem in the context of changes that have occurred over the last fifteen years. The editor of the monograph is professor Jacques Silber, one of the most important and recognizable scientists in the world in the field of inequality analysis.

The publication of the scientist from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in this series confirms the status of the WUEB as a university where important, internationally appreciated research is conducted.
