In keeping with a long-standing tradition, University Day is celebrated in January to mark the anniversary of the inaugural lecture that began the University's activity. The jubilee event will provide an opportunity to recall the University's achievements and honour the generations of students, alumni, employees and friends who have shaped UE Katowice over the years.
The first part of the event will feature the official University Day ceremony, dedicated to the University's history, present-day development and the people associated with its growth. It will be followed by a specially prepared artistic programme.
The jubilee concert will feature Marcin Wyrostek together with the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice and the Song and Dance Ensemble "Silesianie". Wiola Malchar-Orynicz and Marcin Jajkiewicz will also perform.
Everyone interested in celebrating this special anniversary together with the UE Katowice community is warmly invited to attend. Participation requires prior registration via the online form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1bzR0k4Xs94NhpjNkdgkSlqXt2xPbNMPUgDwgrJbxD40/edit?ts=6ac4e6f7
The event will be one of the key highlights of the celebrations marking the 90th Anniversary of the University of Economics in Katowice under the slogan "90 YEARS OF UE KATOWICE. IT COUNTS!".
