The PRME Anti-Poverty Working Group Report on Fighting Poverty through Management Education: Challenges, Opportunities, Solutions, based on a global survey in 70 countries, is one of the resource materials for the 3rd PRME Global Forum "The Future We Want" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 14-15 June 2012.

This survey was the third in a series of global surveys conducted between 2008-2011, which were aimed at getting a better  understanding d the role that management education and management educators can and have played in alleviating global poverty – thereby helping to achieve the first of the eight Millennium Development Goals: To eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.

Supported by EQUAL, the survey was administered in October through December 2011 and received 435 responses from 70 countries.

Its findings and recommendation will be presented and discussed at the 3rd Global PRME Forum in Rio de Janeiro (14-15 June) and at theRio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum on "Innovation and Collaboration for the Future We Want" (15-18 June). They will also provide important foundation for the future activities of the Working Group.
