The 30th CEEMAN Annual conference took place on 21-23 September 2022 in Bled, Slovenia at the headquarters of CEEMAN and IEDC-Bled School of Management. The event entitled "The Future of Management Education: Understanding the Big Picture" boasted a host of engaging panels, discussions and, among other things, a unique AI performance in which the arts meet the CEEMAN members' vision for the future.

It is a pleasure to share with you proceedings of the 2021 poster session within the 29th CEEMAN Annual Conference in Trieste, Italy. Taking place for the first time in hybrid format – with some of the authors being with us in person in Trieste and others joining online from different corners of the world – it was a truly fascinating and inclusive experience.

The 28th CEEMAN Annual conference took place on 23-25 September 2020 in an online format. The big CEEMAN family gathered in order to search for Ideas and Inspiration for Management Development from Fields Beyond Management, the topic of this year's event. The conference took place on an award-winning MiTeam virtual collaboration and learning platform and over the course of three days hosted more than 150 participants from 36 countries around the world.

Last week we bid farewell to Dr Janez Stanovnik, former President of Slovenia (1988-1990), recipient of the Doctor Honoris Causa at IEDC-Bled School of Management, and a frequent guest speaker at many international conferences. To commemorate Dr Stanovnik's life and remarkable achievements, we are sharing his contribution from the 2013 PRME Summit in Bled.

CEEMAN Manifesto "Changing the Course of Management Development: Combining Excellence with Relevance" was published in September 2018 as a call for a balanced and relevant management education. Manifesto in Short is a more succinct version that might help to better understand the principles of relevance and excellence in teaching and research, and to apply them.

Officially launched at the 26th CEEMAN Annual Conference in Prague, the CEEMAN Manifesto “Changing the Course of Management Development: Combining Excellence with Relevance” marks an important milestone for CEEMAN and its members: it is a publication and call to action at the same time, seeking to encourage management education institutions to examine their mission and strategy and determine whether both excellence and relevance are sufficiently featured in those.

"Business and Society: Making Management Education Relevant for the 21st Century" is the result of a research project coordinated by CEEMAN and IEDC-Bled School of Management in 11 countries that lasted over two years. The main objective of the research, having conducted in-depth interviews with more than 200 CEOs and HR managers, was to achieve a better understanding of emerging business challenges as well as management and leadership development needs.
