12th EFER European Entrepreneurship Colloquium (EEC)

EFER European Entrepreneurship Colloquium (EEC) is a one-week faculty training programme for entrepreneurship academics. Now in its 12th year, EEC 2015 will take place on 19-25 July at UnternehmerTUM in Munich, with contributors from Harvard Business School, EPFL, Stanford University, Technical University of Munich and others.

The European Entrepreneurship Colloquium (EEC) is an intensive one-week residential programme, specifically designed for European professors and educators seeking to integrate more effective, appropriate and interactive approaches, and practical skills in teaching entrepreneurship. The 2015 programme will focus on the technology and high growth entrepreneurship including design thinking, action learning, technology commercialisation, experiential learning, involving entrepreneurs, online learning and others.

EFER’s current alumni include 538 professors from 205 institutions in 48 countries. Join us for EEC and become part of this growing and valuable pan-European network. EEC 2015 is open for applications from professors and educators in relevant fields, including our alumni and their colleagues. Approximately 60 participants from 20 countries across Europe are expected to attend the programme.

EEC 2015 is managed by EFER and will be hosted by UnternehmerTUM at the new Entrepreneurship Center of Technische Universität München (TUM) and UnternehmerTUM in Germany. The sessions will be led by contributors from Harvard Business School, Stanford University, EPFL, TUM and others. Programme updates can be found on EFER website: www.efer.eu

EEC 2015 Aims to:

  • Enhance entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education in and for Europe’s economic and social development
  • Discuss best practices in involving entrepreneurs as key stakeholders in the education process
  • Encourage the collaboration between academics and institutions, and help them enlarge their networks

Fee

The fee is €1700 which includes tuition, course materials, 6 night accommodations, and most meals during the programme. Travel expenses are not included.

There is 30% discount for CEE universities with two or more participants.

Venue

The main programme will take place at the new Entrepreneurship Center of Technische Universität München and UnternehmerTUM.

Accommodation

The accommodation will be arranged for you for 6 nights from Sunday 19 July - Saturday 25 July. Extra nights will be at your own expense.

Admission

To apply for EEC, please fill out the online form via www.efer.eu  

Notification of admission is made on a rolling basis. Admission decisions will be based on the applicant’s overall teaching experience as well as on the need for diversity and balance among the participants. The application deadline is 30 April 2015 but we encourage you to apply as early as possible, as places are limited.

Admission Requirements

  • Institutional responsibility and entrepreneurship teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Participants must have institutional sponsorship. Sponsoring schools agree to assume all fees and provide for travel expenses.

A certificate of participation from EFER, in collaboration with UnternehmerTUM, will be issued to each participant upon the successful completion of the programme.
